Pat Buchanan also supports it, he was on the McLaughlin Group this morning.

Of course I don't support it.

As I posted on another thread, handing them cash is stupid. Iacocca got a loan and pulled Chrysler put of the weeds and paid back. That would be a better route. As I also wrote, anyone getting this assistance should have limits on executive compensation.

From what I've heard, Chrystler is also in trouble again. GM should file bankruptcy.

None of us are qualified enough in economics to know what the f*ck they should do. But to say this is a liberal Democratic plan is just bullsh*t. Many many conservative Repugs support it. But just to let you know, 3 million jobs in the US are at stake.

Where does it end though? Will the three million continue to produce an inferior product and demand premium wage and benefit pkgs? And when they decide it's not enough (like AIG), does the government just shell out again?

Have you read the entire bailout package? Do you know what provisions and what, if any, requirements are listed? I doubt that the govt will just hand them billions with no stipulations on the money. As I said, none of us have all the details and even if we did, we are not even close to being experts on this crap. But if the top economic minds in the country have a plan to get us out of this quagmire that your hero Bush got us into, how about just going along for the ride? Clearly the guy YOU folks put in charge did nothing but f*ck it all up. Step aside and let folks with a brain take over for a while. My bet is they will fix this mess. And the opinions of what to do by those who supported the current f*cking administration really aren't needed or wanted now.

People aren't buying their products, they have run the company in an inefficient manner, their balance sheet stinks and has for years.

I wouldn't buy their stock, why should I be forced to contribute tax dollars?

People aren't buying anyone's products because they can't.

You people who believe that the imports are far superior to the domestics have been fooled by a great PR program.

Every dealership I've ever been in has a service department and it isn't there just to change oil and tires.

They all break and they all need new parts.
