TAX FREE DAY FOR GUN PURCHASES DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING.


If you are a resident of NC then rejoice. Your state is offering what they call "Second Amendment Day." Yes you do not have to pay any sales tax on your new gun, so hey. How about a dozen of them "simulated assault" rifles or maybe a nice handgun or two for Christmas gifts.

Maybe it's unfounded fears of gun confiscation or stricter rules once the new adminsitration settles in.

Maybe it's an even greater unfounded fear of substantially higher crime.

All I know is that when money is tight and you've gotta put food on the table you're not gonna be able to eat that shiny new handgun or assault-style rifle. But I'm sure some will [sign in to see URL] most won't make it past the first "bite" in a manner of speaking.
