Re: Mark Levin has FUN

]According to Slate ....

.....Cruz remains the favorite in a state that hasn’t elected a Democrat to statewide office since 1994, but it’s clear this one isn’t the Republican gimme that Texas statewide races usually are. Cruz leads O’Rourke by just 4.4 percentage points in the RealClearPolitics polling average, and his lead has cracked double digits in only two RCP-tracked polls this year, most recently in June. Of the five surveys since, four found O’Rourke within the margin of error.

O’Rourke’s strength has created a feedback loop of sorts, whereby his fundraising success and stronger-than-expected performance in the polls earn him coverage in the national press as The Man Who Can Beat Ted Cruz, which in turn boosts his name ID and ability to ask for more cash from liberals who are clearly excited by his campaign and who clearly despise his opponent.....

Personally ....between Texan stubbornness and the lengths rethugs will go to hang on to power.... I'm afraid it's going to take more than being positioned within the margin of error for O'Rourke to unseat Cruz, but who knows?

Sisl is as informed on current-events as any typical dung-beetle....

Good one.

That concerned about them as well.

Texas is being invaded by Refugees from fast-failing California, and the poor folks are, sadly, bringing their silly ideas of hand-out heaven with them. Colorado and several other states are being damaged in a similar manner.

Fast failing California? Clearly you do not use facts when forming opinions or making statements, you retard.

On the contrary the California economy is booming, tax revenues are way up, they have a budget SURPLUS in the billions, their unemployment rate is around 4%,....

So tell me, Einstein... how is California "fast-failing"???

Can't wait for Marat Sissy's non-response.

I do not suppose that you would care to furnish a link which would confirm that news?

I'll be waiting for your response Curtis, but not holding my breath.

Certainly sisl has held Trump accountable and can update us on the details of Trumpcare.

Trump and I both know that the FedGov has no business being involved in healthcare, as well as several dozen other areas of life which are non of their business.

Confirming you and your party have nothing to offer on HC.

Which still leaves you and Trump at the level of political hack liars.

Congratulations on yet another GOP debate fail.

Sisl would be being eaten by cock roaches in the gutter right now without government run HC.

That is how informed the GOP shar-voters are.

As always, you imagine that without FedGov involvement, no solution is possible.

So your party just passed another $1 trillion DoD budget buster because you think the fedgov should not be involved.

lmao

Crying for a !@#$ wall. Because you think the fedgov should not be involved.

lmao

Federal deficit soars 32 percent to $895B under Trump and the GOP, because you think the fedgov should not be involved.

lmao

That is why you filed for SS EARLY.

Social Security is the government’s best anti-poverty program

It should come as little surprise as the baby boomer generation ages into retirement, but Social Security overwhelmingly lifts the most people out of poverty than any other government program.

That’s according to the Census Bureau’s supplemental poverty measure released Wednesday, which tries to take into account the government programs designed to assist low-income families and individuals that are not included in the official poverty measure.

Social Security kept 27 million people out of poverty, according to these numbers. Refundable tax credits had the second-biggest impact, keeping 8.3 million out of poverty.

Other programs with big impacts: food stamps, otherwise called the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program; Supplemental Security Income, which goes to aged, blind and disabled people; and housing subsidies.

Conversely, medical expenses were the largest contributor to increasing the number of individuals in poverty. Worker expenses and the payroll tax, also known as the Federal Insurance Contributions Act, also put people in poverty.

Related: Typical household now brings in as much income as before the recession

The definition of poverty based in the supplemental measure is based on expenditure of food, clothing, shelter and utilities. Though it varies depending on geography, it’s about $27,000 for the typical two-adult, two-child household.

Cousin SISL filed for SS when he became disabled due to a badly broken leg and a botched repair job by the doctor. He did not live too long after his retirement, and may have collected 2-3% of the thousands he contributed
 to FICA over the years.

He left to me his fine cabin in the quiet WV woods, and I am enjoying my own retirement here.
