You might want to use a bigger font Curtis, it works very well for Crogin in her straight-to-the-bottom snore-a-palozzas.

    Congratulations on a nice win.

Trump won by a 20 point lead in 2016. Pen. voters may have favored him that much but I think the Bernie voters were pissed at Hillary for rigging the primaries and would not vote for her. Some probably voted Trump. This could have happened in many states. What you think?

Trump won because the internet was flooded with fake news and slanderous lies about Hillary and the media gave Trump millions of dollars in free air time. Discontented Bernie voters accounted for some, but evangelical determination to decide the new SC justice had more impact.

Still a pretty close race. At this time CNN has it: Lamb 49.9 and Siccone 49.5 with 98% of the precincts reporting. Then there are around 7,000 absentee ballots to be counted and reported all at once. In about 2 hours or so.

elk,

The Hillary effect may have helped create the 20-point margin for Trump, but it's been a safe Republican seat for some time.

I believe McCain & Romney won in that district during their respective elections, and there have been occasions when the Republican ran unopposed.

While Lamb has a razor thin lead (95 votes) at the time of writing this post, and it could still go either way, I think it might be a small indicator (not a huge one as some suggest) that momentum is moving in the direction of the Democrats for the mid-terms.

    Loch,

Trump has burned a big and painful blister on the asses of Democrats.

And a lot of Republicans too.

He seems to enjoy throwing rocks at hornet nests.

Lamb is a fine looking young man. The democrats are desperately trying to get new young blood in their party to replace the likes of Peloci. Schumer, Maxine and a host of others. Lamb would fit the bill perfect for them. The dems. were highly energized for this race and Lamb had a lot of extra support. The dems also know that they can't win races just being anti Trump. They are going to have to scramble to set their platform. Young new talent and a good platform could be what it takes to revive a failing party right now.

The GOP heavily outspent the Dems, HAVING TO SPEND over 10 million dollars in a deep red district, THAT THEY SHOULD OF EASILY WON.

Trump had to go campaign for the republican in a deep red district.

And it's a 50/50 tossup, separated by about 800 votes in favor of the Dem.

No matter what happens tonight, keep in mind that THERE ARE 112 RED DISTRICTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, UP FOR ELECTION, THAT TRUMP WON BY LESS THAN 20 POINTS.

If this is the best that the GOP can do in a deep red district, you can bank on the Dems taking control of the House come November!

THEY. ARE. FUCKED.
